Gmail is very successful mailing network. Now most of the people are adopting Gmail account daily to send and receive emails. We have received a lot of emails daily and we don’t delete them regularly, finally face the problem to deleting large numbers of email in Gmail. The Gmail automatically manages our emails into default separate categories like Primary, Social, Promotions. Mainly, we face this problem with Social and Promotions Tab because several notification mail receive from the top social networking websites such as twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+.
How to delete all messages in a category at once
Normally the user presumes that Gmail only allows you to delete only the messages on your screen at once (50) using select-all options, but when you click 'Select-All' CheckBox, Gmail ask you to select all messages. Follow up with some simple steps below to proceed and save you lots of time.
1. First of all login into Gmail account where you want to delete bulk conversations.
2. Now select Tab (like: Social / Promotions, etc.) which you want clean out. You can also use Advanced search operators to delete all emails from Gmail in smart way like: delete all unread email or all email from a same contact etc.
3. Select all emails on the page by click the 'Select-All' Checkbox at the top of the page.
4. You see that a message appears that says 'All 50 conversations on this page are selected. Select all 244 conversations in the forums'.
5. Click the link in that message to select all conversations in the forums. And click the delete button.
