You can convert .JPEG, .PNG, .GIF, or PDF files. If Google OCR technology was unable to extract text from PDF, Convert PDF to Image files and then try. I am pretty sure that OCR will extract the Text from PDF-images.

Steps to extract text from Images

1. Open Google Drive Website
2. Upload Text-Image File to Google Drive
3. Right-click on the desired file, and then Select Open with > Google Docs
4. Now Copy you Image Text

Note:

2. Google's OCR technology extract text with more than 90% accuracy.

3. Text formatting will not save in maximum case.

2. Paste Following Code in Code.gs

3. Creae new Html File Form.html. File > New > Html file and Enter new file name "Form".

4. To publish a script as a web app, Publish > Deploy as web app.
5. Under Project version, enter the version like: 1,2,3 etc.
6. Click Deploy.
7. To test your web app, Publish > Deploy from manifest...
8. Click on web app URL.

A simple google app script to store or save a PDF file to google drive via URL(link).

With this Google App Script, you can download PDF file from the web directly to your Google Drive accounts without having to download that file to your computer.

This is really a great idea if we need to Collect, Store or save multiple PDF files by url, and where the URLs in sequence form like: myFile001.pdf, myFile002.pdf.... myFile895.pdf. And because the script runs on google server so we not need to TurnOn our PC.

This is the Basic Version of Code:

1. Create a New Google Spreadsheet.

2. Go to Tools > Script editor...
3. Pase Following Code, Save and run.
